Structura governance

How Structura governance works

Structura uses two Snapshot X Spaces on Shape, with Rules Committee review between the signal vote and the binding vote.

Proposal lifecycle

  1. 1

    Temp Check

A holder creates a proposal on the Temp Check Space.

  2. 2

    Rules Committee review

After the Temp Check passes, its execution opens a three-day review. The committee may reject the proposal or affirm it and open the Final Vote early. If the window expires, anyone may promote it.

  3. 3

    Final Vote

Promotion creates the matching proposal on the Final Vote Space and carries forward the executable payload onchain.

  4. 4

    Recorded enactment

After the Final Vote passes, anyone may finalize it. Structura records the successful outcome but does not call the proposal target, so the governance record cannot execute an arbitrary mirrored action.

What is onchain

Space state, proposal identifiers, votes, review decisions, and the executable action payload are authoritative onchain. The payload is not duplicated into proposal metadata.

What stays offchain

Human-readable proposal copy and site presentation remain offchain. They explain the proposal but are not treated as an executable mirror of its calldata.
